This week’s passing of cherished Australian entertainer and philanthropist Olivia Newton-John serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the need to make the most of the time we have, but it also highlighted the goodness that comes from giving to others.
Olivia’s will to live, her love for Australia and her relentless fundraising efforts to ensure those undergoing cancer treatment have the best chance of surviving and thriving has inspired us at City Tatts to get behind two great causes.
As a star of the performing arts, we have again this year pledged our support of the Sydney Fringe Festival that will run across Sydney with two of your venues The Barracks and The Castlereagh being Major Hubs as part of the festival that will see thousands of new faces through the doors.
City Tatts will be donating in the name of all members to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre whilst we also Light our venues up pink for Cancer awareness and support that Arts that Olivia herself loved.
