ClubsNSW surveyed 236 Club in NSW and the results show the impact that the forced shutdown has had on employment and trading position of the industry.
- A recent survey of 236 clubs found:
- Over 80% club employees stood down
- Over 19% club employees are still working
- Less than 1% redundancies have occurred.
- Extrapolating that to the entire industry we estimate:
- Over 35,000 club employees stood down
- Over 8000 club employees are still working
- Less than 600 redundancies have occurred.
