Kai Goldman will walk 1000km from World Gym Castlereagh to World Gym Surfers Paradise to raise funds and awareness for mental health support and suicide prevention.

“Mental health affects almost everyone in one way or another. Whether it be a friend, family member or yourself who is suffering, it has a massive impact on us all. I have taken it upon myself to raise money to help Lifeline and the thousands of people they service every year.

I have suffered from mental health issues and still to this very day I have struggles, but I have learnt to live with it and have learnt how to manage it. But for many others it’s not that easy. I’m hoping that through this walk I can inspire more people to talk about it, to break the silence and start a conversation because a problem shared is a problem halved.

This conversation can start with a phone call, which is why I am raising money for Lifeline. It is quite often the first step for many people seeking help.”
